Field Tank Construction

New Fuel Distribution Facility

This project was executed in a remote desert location with extremely hot temperatures and nearby forest fires. The crews were challenged to adjust their scheduling to work earlier shifts in the morning and later shifts in the afternoon to avoid the extreme daytime heat . Hydrotesting had its challenges due to increased demands on shared water supply for local forest fire efforts in the area.  The scope consisted of constructing five 5,000 bbl fuel storage tanks, hydrotesting, internal coating, external painting and internal floating roofs as applicable for service.
